One year later, Wu became a student of Li Shangyuan, who is a student of Hao Weizeng a descendent of the Wu (Martial) Style Taichi family. After long years of learning and understanding, Wu created the Guizeng Taichi and Shanyuan qigong based on Daoism.
His theory encompasses Chinese medicine, Daoist theories and Chinese martial arts theories. After practical training and studying the discoveries of generation after generation, he created his very own style.
Wu was also a professor of Mathematics at the University of Suzhou, until his retirement.
