TAICHI
Introduction
Taichi is a branch of the martial arts. It is also a way to strengthen the body. Therefore, aside from being a defensive tactic, it is also an important area for preserving good health.
Zizen Taichi evolved from the Wu (Martial) Style. The Wu Style is characterized by its concentration on only the essences from the many styles of Taichi available. Only 6 classes will be needed to acquire the learning for a lifetime’s practice of taichi. The result is much more approachable, understandable and effective.
The student will learn from the basics of both static and active movements. The movements of the arms, hands, waist, body, leg, feet and the eyes will henceforth become connected. Through Taichi action, there will be stillness and the assembly of both an inward, subdued power and an outward, explosive power. The body and the spirit become mutually responsive. The yin and yang become one. These are some of the best exercises to achieve a long and healthy life with skills in the martial arts too.
Each class lasts for an hour and thirty minutes.
